Who are the Knights?
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.75 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

Bishop George Avis Fulcher Council is proud to be considered one of the fastest growing Councils in the State of Indiana. Our District has been the leader in membership gains in Indiana for four years running. We have been the recipients of various Supreme and State Council awards for our service to our local community and our Parish. Our members enjoy being a part of an internationally recognized Catholic men's organization, while still being able to provide much needed support to our home Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups (called "assemblies"). Certain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic and religious functions, an activity that has brought worldwide recognition to the Knights of Columbus.
Our Fourth Degree Assembly is the Lt. Timothy J. Maude Assembly #2740. It meets on the third Thursday of each month. Even though the Assembly is only 4 years old, it has already posted award-winning activities and membership gains!
